The morning of his birthday he woke up extra early eager to head to Kindergarten…after all you go to Kindergarten when you’re 5, right?! Oh the disappointment filled his eyes as we broke the news that he still has a few months to wait. I won’t lie…after I dropped him off at preschool that morning I cried on the way home. This is our last year together before he’s off to Kindergarten. My heart hurts and I will miss him– but I’m so happy for him, too. I know just how excited he is to go to his brother’s school. I can’t wait to hear all about his day and how many new friends he’ll make.

But for now I will snuggle that sweet boy just a little longer before he’s not so little anymore…
